We currently run the following on-going projects in Madagascar:
Word on the water:
We have build and launched a boat called “Vonjy” on the Tsiribihina - river. “Vonjy” is the Malagasy word for Saviour. This river is one of the biggest rivers in Madagascar. Thousands of people live on the banks of the river. The area is inaccessible by car because there are no existing roads. The vision is to equip the boat as a “Mercy ship.” She is manned by a local medical doctor and assistant as well as a evangelism team of three. In this way we render a medical service to the community where there is none existing, and we have the opportunity for evangelism. This project will also open many opportunities for other ministries.
We are the in process of building a training centre in Belo which will serve the purpose of a Bible School as well as a base for other uplifting projects in the community.
The cell groups are created for the purpose of more intensive training.
The establishment of youth clubs to reach the youth through various activities.
Acts 4 Acts:
This project gives Christians the opportunity to be witnesses as Jesus commanded in Acts 1:8: “... you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
